Are you thinking about buying a property but struggling with affordability in Sydney?

Maybe it's time to broaden your thinking and your property search!

There are many options out there, but you must first understand what strategy suits you.

1.You could be a Rentinvestor – renting where you love to live and investing in other markets

2.You could be purchasing your first home by taking advantage of the stamp duty concessions and $10,000 cash rebate available in NSW*

3.You could be an investor looking to build on your portfolio but unsure where to invest next.

This year alone we have worked with RentInvestors, assisted first home buyers purchase a home in Sydney and continued to help investors build security through research-based property solutions across Australia.

Having just returned from another research trip interstate, I'm loving Adelaide!  Adelaide is like a young Melbourne.  It has a great vibe with so many cafes, restaurants (food is amazing!), cool laneways and bars, a thriving arts community, as well as festivals, sports and business precincts. It truly has a lot to offer.

Just 4 kms from the CBD, you can buy a brand new one bedroom apartment from $380,000 or a two bedroom from $463,000, both with parking.  A little further out, but still only 8 kms from the CBD you can purchase three bedroom townhouses starting from $478,500.

Geographically and with a similar demand on housing, Sydney's equivalent would be Erskineville or Marrickville. Price wise, you'd be looking at double the purchase price, or more, if you were buying similar properties in these Sydney suburbs.

If apartments and townhouses aren’t what you are looking for, we also have house and land solutions starting from $365,000.

Adelaide has long been thought of as the sleepy city compared to Australia’s other capital cities, but this is changing. The city is now benefiting from billions of dollars in infrastructure investment, steady population growth, solid employment and low rental vacancy rates.

These are all the indicators that we look for when researching property investment locations.

Why is this great news for you?

Because it gives you options and the ability to get into the property market in a growing location.
